David Merel

David Merel is the founder and CEO of Thinkbright LLC, a cutting-edge Voice Over IP carrier providing businesses of all sizes with sophisticated and low cost VOIP solutions. David started ThinkBright in 2005 and continues to manage the company and its employees. He acts as the company’s chief architect, designing new technologies, building and deploying new servers, and continuously maintaining and updating the company’s business model.

David always had a passion for technology, and his knowledge of technology is completely self-taught. David graduated from SUNY Binghamton University in 2002 with a major in Philosophy, Politics & Law, and went on to work for Young & Rubicam where he started off as an IT Coordinator and was eventually promoted to Global Project Manager. David then joined The Sitaro Group as a Project Manager where his main responsibility was adapting cutting edge technologies for business applications. He is always interested in learning about new platforms and technologies, and constantly researches and reads the about the latest information to keep up-to-date in the IT world.

David was born and raised in Riverdale, NY with his two siblings, and currently resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
