Pauline Arae
Pauline is the Director of Programs & Projects at Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, Western Region, a nationwide 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that initiates and helps support social, educational, cultural and recreational programs and projects for IDF soldiers as well as for the families of fallen soldiers. Pauline also leads the organization's community outreach efforts throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Prior to joining the non-profit world, Pauline lived in New York City as a consumer behavior consultant and market researcher, serving mainly television and motion picture clients such as CBS/Viacom, MTV and 20th Century Fox.
Pauline has a deep passion for the State of Israel and serves as mentor and Vice President of Public Relations for the Jewish Unity Mentorship Program, and is also a member of the Fuel For Truth organization, whose mission is to disseminate accurate information about Israel and the Middle East. Pauline holds a B.A. from the University of Connecticut in Communications and Spanish as well as a minor in International Studies. Pauline speaks Spanish, Farsi and Hebrew, and is an active member of the Persian-Jewish community of Los Angeles.
