Ben Bernstein

Ben Bernstein is from St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Brown University. While at Brown, Ben studied abroad in Paris where he lived with a Jewish host family who reignited his interest in Judaism and forced him to learn some Hebrew along with his French. After graduation, Ben moved to New York to study at Yeshivat Hadar in Manhattan. Currently, Ben is a Tikvah Fellow at the NYU Bronfman Center for Jewish Life. An avid writer, Ben has worked for Rolling Stone and The New Republic magazines, and recently had the unique and challenging opportunity to be the tour manager for the band Penguin Prison. When not teaching or learning Jewish texts, Ben enjoys seeing and performing stand-up comedy, playing basketball and biking around New York.
