Danielle FreniDanielle Freni

Danielle Freni is the director of communication at Central Synagogue in New York City, one of the largest Reform congregations in North America. She previously worked as a producer for NY1 News and as the community relations manager for New York Blood Center’s Hudson Valley/Bronx division where she served as the regional spokesperson on live television and radio interviews. Danielle is also a freelance writer. Some of her articles about Jewish identity have been published on InterfaithFamily.com.

She grew up on Long Island, N.Y., and studied in Salamanca, Spain, before graduating from the University of Hartford with a B.A. in mass communication. As an undergrad, she traveled throughout Israel with Project Interchange, an Institute of the American Jewish Committee. At age 23, Danielle converted to Judaism and in 2007 she became bat binah at Larchmont Temple in Westchester County, N.Y.

Danielle lives in Midtown Manhattan.
