Ilana Wolfe

MBA Candidate 2010, Columbia Business School

Ilana Wolfe was born and raised in New Jersey, along with her three siblings. After graduating from high school, she spent a year studying in Jerusalem, where she formed a deep bond with Israel and Judaism.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Ilana joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division. She currently works in Financing Group Management, where she is responsible for strategic initiatives and projects for the division.

A strong believer in building peace at a grassroots level, Ilana is actively engaged in Soccer for Peace, an organization that aims to unite children of war-torn countries through their shared love of soccer. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, jogging and hiking, and playing super-aunt to her adorable nephews and niece.

While Ilana feels a strong relationship to Israel, she has not been back in nearly nine years and is thrilled at the opportunity to gain a more sophisticated connection to and appreciation of the country.

In Fall, 2008, Ilana will began business school at Columbia University, and she looks forward to applying the skills she’ll gain toward business endeavors in the social-enterprise sector.
