Josh Fialkow

Josh Fialkow is currently an advanced placement teacher of history and government at the DRS Yeshiva High School for Boys in Woodmere N.Y. He began his career in education while he was an undergraduate at Yale University. Believing that learning is about sharpening both our intellectual and physical faculties, Josh’s interests express a wide variety of skills. He enjoys long distance running at the beach, playing chess, reading and learning about wines. With an eye to the future, Josh hopes to strengthen his connections with Israel and to develop those connections in the field of education. With new educational technology such as the Smartboard, he would like to develop interactions between American and Israeli classrooms that could foster learning opportunities.
