MEET THE FELLOWS

Joshua AbelTanya Levina

Tanya grew up in Kiev in the waning days of the USSR and began her career as an analyst at a since-defunct investment bank. Her personal and professional origins have given Tanya a penchant for unexpected adventures. Tanya graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she devoted many hours to theater rehearsals. She received a J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was an Articles Editor for the Journal of International Law and Politics. Tanya spent a year rowing and studying political philosophy at Oxford University, and discovered the joy of a budget airline during a semester at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany.

A corporate lawyer by day, Tanya still strives for balance in all things. She aspires to teach, to contribute towards alleviating poverty, to improve her photography skills, to feed her cat on a schedule, to spend more time volunteering, and to live closer to a ski slope. An avid globe-trotter, Tanya is excited by the opportunity to return to Israel.
