Todd SchechterTodd Schechter is the founder of the Jewish Conversation Project, an organization which provides educators, community leaders, and online content managers with tools that help celebrate differences, break through preconceptions, and enrich Jewish identity. By integrating documentary film, web-based learning tools, and old-fashioned dialogue, Jewish Conversation Project programs reach participants on multiple levels; its called Trialogue™ and some are calling it a revolution in conversation based learning.
Formerly an international documentary television producer for Chat the Planet, Todd Schechter has worked films in countries including the U.S., Israel, Poland, and Iraq.
In addition to being an inaugural Shapiro Family Fellow, Todd is a PresenTense Institute Fellow, one of The Jewish Week's 2008 36 Under 36, a member of the ROI network, the Koldor network, and Professional Leaders Project Talent. In Summer of 2008, Todd participated in the Israeli Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Training Seminar for Young Jewish Leaders.
A native New Yorker, Todd has a double Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts, and Theatre & Drama from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
